OCEANA AQUATIC AWARENESS is a volunteer outreach program that is dedicated to the protection of wildlife through
projects such as cleaning up the harmful trash in the ocean, restoring the habitats of affected species, and
implementing new and inovative technologies to prevent environmental damage.

Habitat restoration refers to projects that replenish an ecosystem's natural resources following natural or man-made damage. In some cases, habitat restoration is critically important to the survival of native species and the continued existence of a natural ecosystem.
Saving nature is at the very heart of what we do as OCEANA. For 60 years, we have made it our mission to find solutions that save the marvelous array of life on our planet by applying the best science available and working closely with local communities.
GVI’s wildlife conservation programs give you a chance to get involved in conservation research, data collection and environmental education work abroad. Our projects promote sustainable conservation efforts in some of the world’s most biodiverse places.
