Volunteer!

When you’re walking through Thailand's forested jungles, you might spot an Asian elephant snacking on some bamboo, or splashing in a river. This type of natural behaviour is what the best wildlife volunteering programs aim to promote... and becoming a conservation volunteer with GVI also means working with some of the world’s most endangered animals.

Habitat Restoration

Habitat restoration refers to projects that replenish an ecosystem's natural resources following natural or man-made damage. In some cases, habitat restoration is critically important to the survival of native species and the continued existence of a natural ecosystem.

Wildlife Protection

Saving nature is at the very heart of what we do as OCEANA. For 60 years, we have made it our mission to find solutions that save the marvelous array of life on our planet by applying the best science available and working closely with local communities.

Organization Outrach

GVI’s wildlife conservation programs give you a chance to get involved in conservation research, data collection and environmental education work abroad. Our projects promote sustainable conservation efforts in some of the world’s most biodiverse places.
